a natural, confidence-boosting solution

Scalp micropigmentation offers a permanent solution for concealing hair transplant scars. Both strip scars (FUT) and punch scars (FUE) can be covered, with concealment rates of up to 90% achievable in many cases.

Scars are an unfortunate yet inevitable legacy of hair transplant procedures. However thanks to scalp micropigmentation, these scars no longer need to compromise your appearance.

During a scar concealment procedure, scalp micropigmentation pigment is deposited in and around the damaged area to minimise the contrast between the scar and surrounding hair. Scalp micropigmentation camouflages the scarring, but can sometimes also restore health to the injured skin.

FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) transplants leave individual scarring at the back and the sides of the head, from where the transplanted hairs have been harvested. These scars are predominantly small circular dots where hair follicles have been removed, exposing the scalp.

FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation) scars are longer and more linear, so more prominent and more localised. This makes the scarring unavoidably visible and more noticeable.

Whilst scalp micropigmentation is commonly used to hide both FUE and FUT scars, it’s also a simple yet effective way of hiding and camouflaging scars from accidents, head traumas, or surgery.
